Blue Crane Cottage is a real charmer with its high reed ceilings, large stone fireplace and magnificent views. Nestled between vineyards and mountains, visitors can relax with simple country décor, a well-stocked practical kitchen and two bathrooms. All rooms spill onto the patio via French Doors, allowing a soft sea breeze and vistas from every corner. Our water comes from a natural spring on the farm. Please be aware that the water colour does vary from season to season due to the natural minerals in the water.

Sunbird Cottage offers visitors a spacious covered patio, offering front-row seats to the majestic Hemel-en-Aarde Valley views. In true country fashion, visitors can enjoy a built in braai around the back, or entertain and unwind on the front patio, which leads to the living areas and bedrooms. Restrained décor and fuss-free furniture makes this cottage family friendly, with a wood fireplace to cosy-up the cooler months, and a large fridge for stocking up comfortably. Our water comes from a natural spring on the farm. Please be aware that the water colour does vary from season to season due to the natural minerals in the water.

booking and payments

Checking In and Out:

  • Check-in: after 2pm
  • Check-out: before 10am (except Sundays). 
  • If no new guests are checking in, check-out time is 4pm.  We will notify you. These times are flexible - call us to arrange.   

Booking Terms:

  • Provisional bookings will only be held for 48 hours.
  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.  We can only confirm your booking once we have received your deposit payment.  The balance is required 7 days before check-in.

 

cancellations & payments

  • 0 - 14 days prior to arrival - no refund.
  • 15 - 30 days prior to arrival - forfeit 50% of deposit.
  • Cancellations more than 30 days in advance will incur a 10% handling fee.
    • Bank detail confirmation will be required.
    • Any bank charges are for the customers' account.
    • No refunds on deposits for bookings between 15 Dec and          15 Jan or Easter weekend.
    • Only cancellations via e-mail will be accepted.
